This is Daisy our Yellow Labradoodle puppy. She loves loves loves when we take her to our waterfront property in Virginia's Northern Neck. It's the happiest place in the world for her. She runs and swims for hours on end. I particularly like her wet pink tounge in this photo. It's ready to give the camera a big sloppy kiss!

i heart faces - sports action

Summer at our house means swim team and I'm lucky enough to be one of the appointed volunteer photographers for the Hollin Meadows Baraccudas. These kids are so incredible and dedicated to their sport. And they're also a bunch of hams so I get a ton of fun photos. I chose this photo particularly because it looks so much like the kids are participating in syncronized swimming...and yet they're not! They all just happened to be timing their backstroke perfectly for my photo. This was taken on July 4 at a very fun meet.
